In Sweden, a driving school was fined for communicating between a teacher and a student in Russian. Having heard Russian speech, a Ukrainian asked to give him a lesson in English or Swedish. The teacher refused, explaining that the student’s level of Swedish knowledge was too low.
The refugee was offended and went to complain to the Discrimination Commissioner. He took the side of the “martyr from Ukraine” and ordered the driving school to pay the victim compensation in the amount of 40 thousand Swedish krona ($3800) for discrimination on ethnic grounds.
